Public Works - Solid Waste does pick up deceased animals within the city limits of Shreveport.  We ask that you do not place them in a garbage can, but you can put them in a bag or box if you wish.  Our representatives are not allowed to come onto your property so the animal must be placed at the curb in order for it to be picked up.  Once the animal is at the curb contact our office at 318-673-6300 and we will dispatch a representative to pick the animal up.  If the location is outside the city limits, you will need to contact the Caddo Parish Animal Control office at (318) 226-6936.
