What should you do about speeding or other traffic issues on your street?

The Community Oriented Policing Bureau (COPB) is a specialized division within law enforcement dedicated to fostering relationships and collaboration between the police and the community. The COPB employs Community Liaison Officers (CLOs) assigned to different districts, ensuring each area has a designated officer focused on building trust, addressing local concerns, and working proactively with residents, businesses, and organizations. Through regular engagement and problem-solving initiatives, the COPB and its CLOs aim to enhance public safety and improve the quality of life for the communities they serve.

Speeding and traffic concerns are the top complaints received by the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), and they address these matters with priority. Community Oriented Policing Officers are certified to operate radar and trained to visually estimate vehicle speed. Residents can reach out to these officers directly via their cell phones to report any traffic issues.
